Holiday blogging is a great way to connect with your clients on a personal level. It shouldn't all be about selling.

I challenge you to show more about the person behind the business. People buy from people. If you want them to see you as a person, and not only a business, this is the best (and least expensive!) way to do it.

The amazing thing about blogging is that once it’s done, you’ll see the benefits for years to come as that article will always be floating around on Google!

When you share your story, you connect more with the people reading the article, and they will more likely become your clients.

The key is to think more about what your ideal client has interest in during this season of their life. How can you relate to it while staying authentic to your own brand?

Remember, blog posts don’t have to specifically tie to what you sell or what you do. They need to connect with something your ideal client connects with so they feel like you are kindred spirits.

Be a person first and connect on a personal level. If that potential client doesn’t need your product or service at that moment, you’ve won their attention. If you've done it well, they will come back and they may be ready to buy the next time.

They say it takes 7 touch points of your brand before a potential client will buy from you.
